From the recording Nowhere, New Mexico - Deluxe Edition
A modern singer/songwriter of sorts. My heart stands firm in the blues/rock traditions of the 70's, but I've had a love of country for years. I mixed it all in my guitar, and my debut album Nowhere, New Mexico is what came out. The record reaches into elements of rock, country, blues, folk, and funk to come up with a sound that may not be completely original, but it is unique. I shamelessly steal from greats like Tom Petty and Butch Walker while incorporating elements of modern country into my singing, writing, and guitar playing.
